Origins

Well hello there!

Fractures is skate punk band from Brighton UK, a collection of mates from a plethora of other bands.

The band started in January 2022, with: Tetley – vocals/ guitar, Paul – bass / vocals and Max –drums.

The band was originally called Raptures, we’re not too smarts, so we just replaced the R with an F and the P with a C, jobs a gooden?

Raptures started out with great hopes and dreams, be the next Every time I die, or Cancer Bats, but like all dreams they were crushed! Our singer moved away, after that we just didn’t feel right carrying on the band.

We had a few jams as a three piece we actually loved it, we also realised we all love punk too much, especialy skate punk. So we drifted away from the hardcore sound into a more upbeat dance / pit kind of band.

Later in the Year we decided we needed a second guitar and more vocals, Aaron Joined us, he originaly tried out for Raptures but that was a sinking ship, he jumped on second guitar and vocals.

His love of all things punk aligned with our sound and the cheaky four was born.
